We’re Going To Miss K.T. Harrell

If there was a way that there could be two SEC Tournament MVP’s then the award would have to go to Auburn’s K.T. Harrell.

In the SEC Tournament we got to see the final hoorah for Harrell’s wonderful career as he went out in a grand fashion. Harrell is one of the best scorers in the SEC and when he played in his final SEC Tournament he showed the rest of the country why.

Harrell started off the week with a dominant performance against Mississippi State scoring 19 points. Then he dropped 25 against Texas A&M. Harrell continued to score even more as he torched LSU for 29 points, including making a deadly three-pointer to send the game into overtime. Before it was all said and done Harrell helped Auburn reach the semifinals before losing to Kentucky.

A lot of people need to brace themselves because players like Harrell don’t come around often. He’s one of the most gifted scorers the SEC has ever had, and he’ll be very missed in college basketball.

It’s been great watching him play.
