Why Oh Why, Texas A&M?

The biggest disappointment in the SEC Tournament goes to Texas A&M. The last time that Texas A&M went to the NCAA Tournament was in 2011, and the opportunity to get their in 2015 was there. Texas A&M had one of the stronger teams in the SEC, or so we thought.

The guard play of their team is second to none in the conference and it was a huge surprise to see the way that they played against Auburn. Texas A&M got upset not because of their lack of interior scoring, a problem that flawed them the entire season, but because they played uninspired.

Texas A&M thought that Auburn was going to roll over and let them have an easy victory, granting their NCAA Tournament hopes, but Auburn had other plans.

Even though the season was a failure, not all hope is lost. Next season Texas A&M will have one of the best recruiting classes in the country. Texas A&M will be back in the NCAA Tournament picture soon, but right now their loss does hurt. The SEC would’ve had six teams in the tourney, which is a sentence that only a few conferences in the country could say.
