The Future

Looking at the bigger picture, this young Bucks team is right on the cusp of breaking out.

On their way to a 45-win season, they could be sniffing 50 wins next season when they add another year of experience and welcome Jabari Parker back to the fold. Nearly everything has gone right for the Bucks this season, and if they are able to continue with their long-term plan, we could be looking at the next Oklahoma City Thunder of the Eastern Conference.

The Bucks have been the butt of many jokes in the NBA for the past decade, toiling away for a chance at the eighth seed, only to be swept out of the playoffs in the first round. After the fans petitioned for the team to tank last season, the team hasn’t had a brighter future in recent years.
