Outside of Andrew Wiggins, the player that impressed the most this week was none other than Elfrid Payton. The Orlando Magic have their point guard of the decade and he’s solidified that the position is his. Payton is quietly making a case to win the Rookie of the Year award.
Additionally, we have to mention Tyler Johnson. In a short amount of time Johnson has become one of the most consistent rookies and he’s become a reliable piece to the Miami Heat’s success.
On another note, the rookies of the Utah Jazz this week have played awesome. The fantastic four, Dante Exum, Joe Ingles, Rodney Hood and Elijah Millsap for the first time all make our rookie rankings.
