Derek Anderson played his first two years at Ohio State before transferring back to his home state and attending Kentucky. He played a pivotal part on the 1996 NCAA champions known as the ‘Untouchables.’
Anderson, a 6’5” hybrid player allowed then-Kentucky head coach Rick Pitino to successfully play the uptempo style he loves. Anderson was a great defender, who had the capability to not only defend three positions, but play three different positions on the offensive side of the ball.
