18. Wayne Turner

4 seasons, 7.7 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.6 steals

Wayne Turner didn’t have mind-blowing per game statistics. However, when you notice he played 151 games in his career, the most in NCAA history until North Carolina’s Deon Thompson passed him, you realize how special of a player Turner was.

Turner wasn’t a great scorer, averaging over 10 points per game just once in his career. However, he was a great passer, ranking in the top five all-time at Kentucky in assists. He also was a menace defensively, leaving the program with the most steals ever.

Turner also played in three consecutive national championship games, something very few people in the world can say they did.
