By Bobby Reagan
21. Louie Dampier
3 seasons, 19.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 50% FG
Louie Dampier was the star at Kentucky in arguably the most talked about game in college basketball history. Dampier was in his second season with the Wildcats when they lost the 1966 national title game to Texas Western, but it was a heck of a season for Dampier. He averaged over 21 points per game that season, even more impressive when there’s not a three point line.
Dampier currently sits 10th all-time in scoring at Kentucky. In just 80 games, the third least out of the top 15, finished with 1,575 points. He was an All-American for two seasons while making the All-SEC team all three years he donned a Kentucky jersey.
