A lot of college basketball fans think of the Kentucky Wildcats as the cream of the crop when it comes to dominant programs across the country. They might not have the most championships or most Final Four visits, but the Wildcats easily have the most wins.

Kentucky’s first season came in 1903 resulting in a 1-2 record. The lone win came against the Lexington YMCA, but did you know the Wildcats lost their very first game by the score of 15-6 to Georgetown College?

We’re a long way from there with Kentucky just winning its 48th SEC regular season championship, by far the most of any school in the country.  The combination of the banners hanging in Rupp Arena and constant success this program has seen its fair share of all-time greats. In order to add some perspective to this program’s history, here’s a look at the 30 greatest Kentucky Wildcats of all time.
