1. Ridiculous Offensive Firepower

The most obvious thing that comes to mind when thinking about Russell Westbrook is his incredibly offensive ability. There aren’t many players in the league that can put up the type of numbers that Westbrook can, and his 26.5 point per game average is currently ranked second in the NBA to only James Harden.

Westbrook has shot 43.2 percent from the field and 27.7 percent from behind the three-point arc. Those percentages aren’t amazing, but for the volume of shots that he has been asked to shoot this season they aren’t bad. Kevin Durant‘s injury has taken a major toll on the Thunder, but Westbrook has been able to step his game up to the point that they have gotten by without Durant.

Not many point guards in the world possess the type of athleticism and explosiveness that Westbrook has.

There is no question that he has solidified himself as a superstar with his play this season, and his offensive game continues to impress each and every game. Oklahoma City has survived a season that no one expected them to due to the play of Westbrook and his offensive prowess.
