If you are playing daily fantasy basketball, Nerlens Noel continues to be a dominant, yet cost-efficient, source of value — making for some very ecstatic, and wealthier, owners. The recent weeks have been nothing short of gold, and owners are looking to keep these good times going.

Of course like anything we deem too good to last, the current value will most likely be increased due to the recent production — which makes for a highly enjoyable facet in these types of leagues. Though, unless something unforeseen happens, on most nights the price will be worth the cost of admission.

Over the last 10 games, Nerlens is averaging 35.8 fantasy points every contest, and he has only broken the $6,000 mark twice. A good rule of thumb to find out if a certain player’s value is worth his price is to multiply their salary by five — so for the cost of barely 6k, you should be getting an extra six points, and that is on an average night.

As I have previously stated, I do not see this cost jumping through the roof, but I cannot envision it remaining at its current bargain.

The departure of Michael Carter-Williams has swung the door wide open for the offensive potential of the second-year rookie to really take a step forward for the remainder of the season. As for the defensive stats, well, they continue to bolster with every passing game; over the last 30 days, Noel is averaging 2.7 blocks, and 7.7 boards — both are increases from his current season average.

Since the All-Star break, the Kentucky product has seen progression in his points, rebounds, minutes, blocks, steals, and field-goal percentage — in other words, absolutely crushing it!

You will be hard-pressed to find many players with such esteemed value on your daily fantasy sites such as this, so riding this train until they jack-up the prices is the best course of action.

When you are getting this kind of production from such a reasonable fee, it affords you the chance to spend a few extra bucks on some really high profile players who can return a 50-60, or even more, this strengthens your chances of making the money. That is exactly what daily fantasy basketball leagues are about, not necessarily winning, but making sure you are finishing above the cut.

For the entire 15 years I have been been playing fantasy basketball, my leagues, and interest in regards to them, were based upon a season-long duration, but recently I have been introduced to DFS, and if you are not privy already, you should really get acclimated, because it’s a blast.

I will be covering both daily, and season-long fantasy hoops from now on due to the high demand. If you ever have any questions about your teams, or solid plays for that day, I am happy to answer any questions on twitter.

Feel free to mention some of your favorite bargain values in the comments.
