Has any team ever been as blatant about their attempts to tank than the Philadelphia 76ers? At the 2015 NBA Trade Deadline, general manager Sam Hinkie strengthened his case.

This time around, the Sixers traded reigning Rookie of the Year and starting point guard Michael Carter-Williams for a future draft pick.

Philadelphia acquired an explosive athlete at center in JaVale McGee and a fundamentally sound point guard in Isaiah Canaan. Neither player offers much in terms of immediate production, but both are fun to watch.

Outside of Nerlens Noel’s quietly excellent rookie season, YouTube highlights are the only thing Philadelphia has to be excited about.
