9. Patrick Beverley (Houston Rockets)

Many will poke fun at Patrick Beverley’s win in the Skills contest, as he missed all of his chest passes, but Bev will surely point at the fact that he won, and ignore just how he did it.

In all honesty, he’s correct. Beverley’s manner of success may not have been the most elegant, but he did so in the most Beverley way possible. He outhustled his opponents, working hard, and managed to win all three of his matchups despite being behind for most of the race.

Grit and determination has been his calling card for much of his career, and on a weekend where flamboyance and skill was the focus, Beverley still managed to fight his way to a victory.
