7. Jusuf Nurkic – Denver Nuggets, C

It’s about time that a lot of people started paying attention to the Denver Nuggets for reasons other than Ty Lawson, and Kenneth Faried.

One of the best rookies in the 2014 NBA Draft is none other than the Nuggets starting center, Jusuf Nurkic. The 6’11”, 280-pound center is one of the scrappiest players to play the game of basketball in a long time. What make Nurkic special as a player isn’t the fact that he has a high motor though, it’s because he’s very confident in his ability.

During games it’s not uncommon for Nurkic to get into the face of his competition and let them know that he’s on the floor with them. He’s the type of player that’s not going to backdown to his opponent and that courage is one of the reasons why he’s going to have a successful career as a center in the league.
