24. Denver Nuggets

Previous: No. 24

Record: 20-33

Last Week: 1-0

Biggest Need: A Fresh Start

Aside from Ty Lawson tying for the league-lead in assists per game and Jusuf Nurkic’s development, the Denver Nuggets haven’t offered much to cheer about. Despite possessing a roster with limitless depth, Denver is 13 games below .500.

While other teams require help in specific areas, the Nuggets just need a fresh start.

The Nuggets have an endless supply of tradable assets. Perimeter players such as Arron Afflalo, Wilson Chandler, Randy Foye, Danilo Gallinari and Jameer Nelson all have value, while interior forces including J.J. Hickson and JaVale McGee can financially facilitate a trade and help teams down low.

At this point, the only player who appears off-limits is rookie center Jusuf Nurkic.

Lawson is performing at a star-caliber level and Kenneth Faried just signed a new contract, but both could be dealt. Lawson is 27 years old and stuck in the midst of a transitional period, while Faried has struggled to see consistent minutes.

Regardless of what gets done, Denver has too many tradable assets to not be active.
