Biggest Need: Go-To Scorer

The Philadelphia 76ers may be committing to back-to-back blatant tanking campaigns, but the future is promising. Philly continues to land players with elite size for their respective positions.

Philadelphia’s biggest need: a primary scoring option.

Michael Carter-Williams is putting up 14.9 field goal attempts and 3.0 3-point field goal attempts per game. Carter-Williams is a skilled player, but he’s proven to be far from a shooter.

Tony Wroten can create for the second unit, but Philadelphia needs help in the scoring department.

Philadelphia, 12-41, ranks dead last in scoring offense and team field goal percentage. There are teams with more well-rounded rosters, but the Sixers are building what could become an elite defensive unit.

Until a true No. 1 scorer comes along, the Sixers will continue to be the worst offensive team in the league.
