18. Miami Heat

Previous: No. 18

Record: 22-30

Last Week: 0-1

Biggest Need: Offensive Firepower

Coming out of the 2014 NBA All-Star Break, the Miami Heat were 37-14. Emerging from the 2015 All-Star Game, Miami is 22-30.

If any team with a postseason-caliber roster needs to make a trade, it’s Miami.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, an available option is Goran Dragic of the Phoenix Suns.

That’d be a season-altering move.

Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade are All-Stars and Hassan Whiteside has been a force to be reckoned with down low. Not only has he been an elite-level shot-blocker, but he’s rebounding as well as any big man in the league.

For whatever the reason may be, Miami can’t seem to string together victories.

The primary reason for the Heat’s underwhelming play is their offensive inefficiency. They’re scoring just 92.8 points per game, which ranks No. 28 in the NBA, and also checks in at No. 20 in offensive efficiency.

In order to turn its season around, Miami needs to improve its scoring offense—now.
