1. Toronto Raptors

The Toronto Raptors are without a doubt the best fit for Amare Stoudemire for the rest of the season, and would offer him the best of both worlds. Most importantly, they are considered a strong championship contender with a record of 36-17 and have all the pieces to make a run in the playoffs.

Stoudemire would immediately step into their starting lineup as a power forward, and would be relied upon quite often throughout the course of their remaining games. Toronto has been looking for a veteran forward that they could acquire via trade, but Stoudemire would be a perfect addition and it wouldn’t cost them anything but money.

It would be a perfect fit for both sides, and the Raptors would take another step forward towards being legitimate championship contenders.

Adding Stoudemire is likely something that the Raptors will try to jump on, and they are going to be heavily involved in the free agency process. If he wants to win and be a major part of those wins then the Raptors are the ideal landing spot for Stoudemire.
