3. Atlanta Hawks

If winning a championship is the number one priority for Amare Stoudemire, then signing with the Atlanta Hawks would be his best option. They are the best team in the Eastern Conference by six and a half games over the Toronto Raptors, and have been playing excellent team basketball all year-long.

One of the weaknesses that they could have in a seven-game playoff series, is their bench. There is plenty of talent that is coming off of their bench, but the backup power forward spot could use some improvement. Mike Scott has been serviceable this season, but adding Stoudemire into the rotation would make the Hawks an even more dangerous contender.

Atlanta is a team that will likely throw an offer on the table for Stoudemire, and they would be his best bet at winning a championship.

That being said, Atlanta won’t be offering him a starting job and his minutes might not be where he wants them to be. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him seriously consider an offer from the Hawks, but as of right now they aren’t his number one possibility.
