10. John Wall (Washington Wizards)

After making his first All-Star appearance last season, John Wall is gunning for the big records in his second consecutive All-Star game. The Washington Wizards’ guard was quoted as saying that he wanted to break Magic Johnson’s record for most assists in a single All-Star Game.

The Los Angeles Laker legend managed 22 assists in the 1984 All-Star Game, in a game that went into overtime. Of the top four highest assist games in All-Star history, Johnson is responsible for three.

Oddly enough, as farfetched as it sounds, Wall is no stranger to racking up big assist numbers in exhibition games. In the 2011 Rising Stars Challenge, Wall recorded 22 assists in 29 minutes to win MVP honors. The All-Star Game will be played at a higher level than the Rising Stars Challenge, but the obvious lack of defense is still just as prevalent.

You’ve been warned: we might see a record broken this weekend in New York City.
