7. Russell Westbrook (Oklahoma City Thunder)

After spending a season away from the All-Star Game, it feels good to have Russell Westbrook back into the fray. He missed last season’s cut due to an injury he sustained in the 2013 playoffs, but now, he’s back stronger than ever.

Westbrook has been on a tear this season. With 25.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 7.6 assists per game to his name, he is showing what he can do if the offense is handed to him. Kevin Durant has been out for most of the season, and so, the Oklahoma City Thunder have relied more on Westbrook to carry the load.

And in true Westbrook fashion, he has delivered. He has had three games of 40 or more points, and has already had three triple-doubles for this season. His former teammate James Harden is also having the best season of his young career, and the two could reunite for one more game and wreak havoc as teammates when they take on the Eastern Conference All-Stars.
