3. James Harden (Houston Rockets)

Here’s an incredible stat for you: in the win over the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night, James Harden recorded his 24th game with a single stat in every category of the box score – proof that he is contributing on both sides of the court on a consistent basis.

Harden had two quiet scoring games where he went for less than 18 points. He had just 14 in the win over the Boston Celtics, where he shot an atrocious 4-of-21 from the field (19 percent). Fortunately, he bounced back with 26 and 27 points against the Detroit Pistons and the Bulls respectively.

Aside from the Celtics game, Harden has shot above 45 percent in his last five games. He’s slowly improving his shooting percentages after a slow start to the season, and is now averaging 45.2 percent from the field, and 38.4 percent from long range.
