Brooklyn Nets: 5 Deals That Make Sense For Brook Lopez
By Steve Krebs
5. Washington Wizards – Marcin Gortat has been on the lower side of mildly effective this season (11 points, eight rebounds per game). Nene, as always, has been anything but healthy (missed 10 games already). Despite that, Washington is set set to make a serious push in the playoffs, and Lopez may just be the kind of piece that gets them to the conference finals.
As a return, I would not mind seeing Otto Porter Jr. , Gortat, and a first round pick as payment. Granted, this would also take the addition of a few extra pieces, but it would certainly not be like getting Kevin Seraphin back, because no Brooklyn fan wants that.
