1. Minnesota Timberwolves – As far as even swaps go, I feel this deal for Thaddeus Young would make the most sense.  Earlier this season, Young was not off to the best start combining for totals of 13.2 points, 4.6 rebounds in November, and December, while shooting just less than 43 percent from the field.

Over the last 10 games the production has accelerated to 17.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, with a .468 field goal percentage.

Not only would the acquiring of Thad give the Brooklyn Nets a tremendous shot in the arm to a weak spot at the small forward position in regards to skill set, but his age, and contract, also make him a solid candidate for a possible long-term sign.

2012-13: $8,289,130.
2013-14: $8,850,000.
2014-15: $9,410,869.
2015-16: $9,971,739 {Player Option}.
