Every Single Big 12 Conference Game Is A Must-Watch

The best part of the college basketball season is March Madness. There’s no question about it. There’s something on the line each time a team takes the court and the competition is stiff, night-in and night-out, from the tip to the final buzzer.

We’re only in the initial stages of conference play, but there is one conference that’s producing some must see TV with thrilling, competitive and meaningful games nearly every time two Big 12 foes step on the court.

With that said, there’s no reason for anyone who calls themselves a fan of this great game we call basketball to miss any game the Big 12 has to offer from this point forward.

The 10-team Big 12 currently features seven of it’s members in the top 25, while the three remaining teams – Kansas State, TCU and Texas Tech – are all at least three games above .500.

With all 10 teams having at least 10 wins this far, the conference has complied the best win percentage in college basketball at .673, and this percentage comes after the Big 12 has been able to start what will end up being a three-month-long slug fest, as these hardwood wars will only intensify as the conference tournament arrives.

Let’s recap for a second. No Big 12 team has played any more than four conference games to this point, but we’ve already been blessed with seven ranked matchups, five upsets, where the lower ranked teams come out on top, – although, it’s hard to consider anything in the Big 12 an upset this season – as well as seven games that have been decided by five points or less.

It doesn’t matter who you’re playing in the Big 12 this season; there’s no easy games and taking a night off is a near-guarantee to show up in the loss column.

Not only are these games coming down to the wire, nearly every time two Big 12 teams meet on the hardwood, there’s some combination of phenomenal coaching, highly-praised freshmen and NBA-bound talent. And the best part about it is this is only the beginning.

The stakes are only guying to get higher, the competition will only continue to rise and game-by-game, things are only going to get more interesting.

If you’re looking for teams that will be battle-tested once March Madness rolls around, look no further than the Big 12.

I would love to keep raving about how much fun the Big 12 has been to watch this season, but there’s simply no way that words alone can bring the full justice to what’s taken place, and will continue to take place in college basketball’s best conference.

The only solution to that is to tune in for yourself, and there’s no better day to begin than today. No. 22 Baylor will head to Kansas State in hopes of halting the Wildcats three-game winning streak. No. 24 Oklahoma State will battle in-state rivals, No. 18 Oklahoma, as both look to bounce back from losses.

No. 20 Texas will be looking to get back on track at home against the swarming defense of No. 16 West Virginia, while No. 9 Kansas will test their luck in a hostile environment on the road against No. 11 Iowa State.

Don’t look back and realize that you missed out on some of the most compelling and competitive conference play in recent memory! Don’t miss another Big 12 game!
