4. Michael Jordan on Dikembe Mutombo

It’s never a good idea to talk trash to the best player in the league, let alone the greatest player ever.

What makes this posterizing dunk of G.O.A.T on Atlanta Hawks center Dikembe Mutombo so unique is the conversation had between Mike and Mt. Mutombo during the All-Star break.

Sitting across from the training table, Mutombo says to Jordan, “Be real Mike, you haven’t gotten me yet.” While Jordan calmly replies, “Fon’t even try it.”

Why didn’t Mutombo realize that was more than friendly banter? It was a warning. You don’t threaten the greatest and most competitive player in the game … ever, under any circumstance!

Best part of this dunk was Jordan waving his index finger back and forth at Mutombo. Mocking Dikembe’s signature finger wag.
