9. DeAndre Jordan on Brandon Knight

This would be known as the night Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan committed attempted murder on Detroit Pistons guard Brandon Knight.

All dunks considered; Knight is about half of what Jordan is in height. The fact that you’ve got the NBA’s most athletic center rising against a point guard takes a few stripes away from this dunk. It’s a poster no doubt, but more bullying than it is dominating.

To Knight’s credit, this play was the result of Greg Monroe‘s lapse in judgment. When Monroe loses Jordan on the screen, Knight does exactly what he was supposed to. Knight slides into position to check Jordan, and the result is a checkmate. At that point, this game was over.
