27. Los Angeles Lakers

Previous: No. 27

Record: 12-27

Last Week: 1-3

Verdict: Cold

The Los Angeles Lakers have lost 11 of their past 15 games. They’ve failed to reach 100 points in six of the previous seven outings and two of their past three losses have come by double-digits.

It just isn’t pretty.

In its most recent outing, Los Angeles fell 78-75 to the Miami Heat. Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade combined for 12 points in that game, which left Mario Chalmers and Hassan Whiteside to take Los Angeles down.

Los Angeles shot 31.5 percent from the field.

With rookie Julius Randle sidelined for the season, the Lakers have very little to build with. The only realistic goal is to play competitively but continue losing due to their first-round draft pick being Top 5 protected.

With a 6-22 record against the Western Conference, Los Angeles is in a bad way.
