1. Golden State Warriors

Previous: No. 1

Record: 30-5

Last Week: 3-0

Verdict: On Fire

Since losing consecutive games on a Los Angeles road trip, the Golden State Warriors have been dominant. They’ve won seven consecutive games against teams of ranging ability.

Thus, Golden State has built a league-best record of 30-5.

Whether it’s Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson or another player on this incomparably deep roster, someone always seems to step up. That’s the nature of this balanced juggernaut.

In virtually every phase of the game, Golden State has players who will make a powerful impact on a nightly basis.

Over the past six games, four different players have led the Warriors in scoring. That’s been the case since the beginning of the season, which has resulted in an elite defense being overlooked.

Golden State is the deepest and most balanced team in the NBA. At this point, it’s also the best team in the NBA.
