Three-Point Shooting

Shooting 37.9 percent from downtown, the Warriors have posted the third-highest three-point percentage in the league so far this season. That shouldn’t be a surprise for a team that has the Splash Brothers, but even guys like Draymond Green and Harrison Barnes regularly take — and make — threes. It’s just in their DNA.

That’s where Holiday fits in. Rush hasn’t proven he’s still a sharpshooter from deep post-ACL problems and that’s never been Barbosa’s strong suit. But in these last nine games where Holiday’s received notable minutes, he’s converted 13 of his 29 attempts from deep (44.8 percent).

A small sample size, to be sure, but Holiday is still shooting just under 42 percent from three-point territory on the season and has looked more than comfortable knocking down the open looks that come from Golden State’s fantastic ball movement. He won’t hit those shots at such a high clip all season, but the early signs are still very good.
