Passing

The Brooklyn Nets are very much an isolation-heavy team, and at times that can be construed as selfish. One thing’s for sure, it can leave their offense with a very static feel to it, as when the ball doesn’t swing around it becomes much easier for the opposition to keep their man under control.

At 20.8 assists per game, Brooklyn are 18th in the league, a sign that they’re very far from playing in a pass-first style. Perhaps an even better indication of this comes by analyzing their made two point field goals though. Brooklyn has a higher percentage of unassisted made two-pointers than they have assisted, a feat which is rare in the modern NBA.
