Monday, Feb. 2 – at Washington Wizards

The Wizards are off to a very hot start this season. They’ve had the success that many in Charlotte thought the Hornets would have this season (maybe not quite that much).

Last season, the Hornets and Wizards battled it out in some really entertaining regular season games — I expect more of the same in this one.

Charlotte and Washington will play this game in Washington and then travel back to Charlotte and play each other again. That makes this contest even more important. If the Hornets can steal one on the road and then take care of business at home, that will go a long way for this team.

Matchups with divisional foes usually bring out the best in both teams. Charlotte can expect to get the Wizards’ best so they’ll need to bring their best. A two-game jump on the season series could be what the Hornets need to lift their spirits before the All-Star break.
