The stretch of games between Christmas and the All-Star break could make or break a team’s season. By this point, we have a good idea of which teams are contenders and which teams are playing for the draft. Everyone else is stuck in the middle and looking to make a move.

If the Charlotte Hornets were in the Western Conference, their season would be long over. However, being in the Eastern Conference means you’re just about never out of things.

After starting the season so poorly, just about every game is one they need to win, but some are more important than others. In order for the Hornets to make a late push, there are certain games they need to circle on their calendar.
