29. Philadelphia 76ers

Record: 4-23

Last Week: 2-1

Previous Rank: No. 30

The Philadelphia 76ers have effectively established the basis for inferiority in today’s NBA. Many feel their general inability to string together victories is by design, but regardless of why it’s happening, it is.

With the No. 30 scoring offense and No. 26 scoring defense, it’s not hard to identify weaknesses in Philadelphia’s rotation.

The 76ers are scoring just 91.4 points—a number which comes on 99.5 possessions per game. They’re also shooting a league-worst 41.3 percent from the field as a team and rank No. 30 again with a mark of 30.3 percent shooting from beyond the arc.

The one saving grace for Philadelphia: it’s one of the better defensive teams in the Eastern Conference.

The 76ers currently rank at No. 11 in the NBA in defensive efficiency and No. 8 in opponent 3-point field goal percentage. Unfortunately, an 0-14 record at home tells you all that you need to know.

If all other reason fails, 4-23 is as bad as 4-23 seems.
