Derrick Williams

Derrick Williams may never have lived up to the lofty expectations of the second overall pick from the 2011 draft, but he still represents an above-average NBA big man, who still has the potential to improve. Originally drafted by Minnesota, Williams has shown great resilience since his move to California.

Unlike most players entering their fourth year in the league, Williams spent the past offseason working harder than ever, and he even played his part in Sacramento’s Summer League team. The addition of the former Arizona man could help plug a gap for Brooklyn up front.
