4. Los Angeles Lakers

If Smith is simply looking for money and playing time, then the Los Angeles Lakers might very well be his best fit. Playing alongside of Kobe Bryant could be the driving force that he has needed, and he could get back to playing his game in L.A. The trio of Nick Young, Bryant, and Smith would be interesting to watch, but those three players could be exactly the offensive punch that the Lakers need to compete.

Even if the Lakers do get him, they aren’t going to be a contender in the Western Conference. The “ball hog” title that Smith has might very well end up being a nightmare alongside of Bryant, and Young also will want his chunk of shots. That being said, if all three players buy in, they might very well be a very dangerous trio for opposing teams to defend against.
