2. Sacramento Kings

Josh Smith has been linked to trade rumors involving the Sacramento Kings for the majority of the season so far, and they make a lot of sense for him. They could use an athletic wing player with the ability to defend at a high level, and they could use a third scoring option behind Rudy Gay and DeMarcus Cousins. Sacramento isn’t too far away from getting back into playoff contention, and Smith could be exactly the move that they need to make.

It wouldn’t be surprising at all to see them end up being the team that he joins. They have the exact need for him at the power forward position, and he has the talents that they need. Expect to see Sacramento make a strong push to sign him immediately after Smith clears waivers.
