Bulls shoot a respectable percentage from deep

One of the shortcomings of the Bulls during the past few seasons was the lack of players who could effectively shoot the ball from three-point range. But thanks to the additions of McDermott, Mirotic and Aaron Brooks, the Bulls have several players who can light it up from beyond the arc.

Against the Grizzlies, the Bulls converted 10 of their 26 attempts from the land of 3, led by Mirotic (6-for-6) and Brooks (3-for-7). Even more importantly, the Bulls limited the Grizzlies to 2-for-13 shooting (15.4 percent) from beyond the arc.

When you outscore a team by 24 points from long distance, you generally win more times than you lose. The edge in this category is just one of the reasons why a short-handed Chicago squad was able to record a road win against one of the better teams in the league.
