Against The Spread: Washington Wizards A Reasonable Favorite

Why not the Washington Wizards? They’re probably the quietest Eastern Conference contender ever.

No matter how good they might be thanks to their youth, the Wizards are the most complete team in the East right now.

Some of it may have to do with staying healthy, but John Wall and Bradley Beal are both having great years. They’re taking advantage of Toronto’s injuries as well as Cleveland’s struggles.

But the Wizards are also in the East, so that helps. And it helps that the Wizards are only four-point favorites against the Miami Heat tonight. That’s way too low.
