18. Joe Fulks – 1949 Regular Season

Joe Fulks’ 63 points against the Indianapolis Jets was a spectacular feat. When you factor in that this was pre-shot clock era, it becomes downright impressive.

At the time, this was an NBA record for points in a game that stood until 1960.

Unfortunately, only 1,500 fans were in attendance to witness, as there was a transportation strike happening at the time in Philadelphia.
