2. Rebounding

The Mavs are currently ranked No. 17 in the NBA in rebounds per game. This was a concern before the season started and this has become an issue that Dallas has to overcome each time they take the court.

Rebounding at a subpar level is something Dallas may be able to get away with against the majority of the opponents they face, but this will not be the case in the postseason. Teams like the Memphis Grizzlies, Golden State Warriors, San Antonio Spurs and Portland Trail Blazers all rebound extremely well. Since these teams are likely playoff opponents, this is an area that Dallas will certainly be working to improve upon.
