The 2014-15 season was full of promise for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Kevin Durant won his first MVP the season before, and Russell Westbrook would finally be injury free for the start of the season.

Everything seemed to be in the right place – they signed Anthony Morrow as a sharpshooter to replace Thabo Sefolosha, and were expecting big things from Reggie Jackson, who would be in a contract year.

Everything looked great.

Until Durant broke his foot. Then, Westbrook broke his hand in the second game of the season. And just like that, the Thunder were short on players and many analysts were calling for them to miss the playoffs. Durant would miss 17 games, while Westbrook missed 14.

The race is now on to make the playoffs, and many did not expect the two to be back so soon. It’s clear that the organization was worried for their playoff chances as well, and was eager for them to return.

So, with 23 games of the season gone and played, we take a look at the roster and how they’ve been performing for the first quarter of the season. The list goes alphabetically in order of their surname, so Steven Adams is first, and we finish with Russell Westbrook.

Note: I’ve left out Grant Jerrett from the list, as he’s only played nine minutes the entire season.

Next: Steven Adams
