Powerhouse Forwards

The combination of Al Horford and Paul Millsap may not be the most traditional big man pairing in the league, but good luck trying to find one that’s more dynamic. Both men are undersized for their spots, but can play big when they have to. More importantly, they’re do-it-all big men.

Atlanta no longer has to rely on one or the other, but they are safe in the knowledge that as a duo they stuff the stat sheet on a nightly basis.

Horford is still feeling his way back from the torn pectoral muscle that caused him to miss over 50 games last season, but having regained his mid-range game, and showing signs of finding his feet again on the defensive end, there’s positive signs.

Millsap has transformed his game since joining the Hawks too, and not only does he stretch the floor as a legitimate three-point threat now, but he also leads the league in steals with 2.3 per game.
