Memphis Grizzlies: Best Game By Each Bench Player
The Memphis Grizzlies got their groove back Tuesday night by defeating the offensively explosive Dallas Mavericks. Marc Gasol had yet another 30-point game, Mike Conley added 22 points, and Zach Randolph scored 17 points, while grabbing 13 boards for his double-double.
This made back-to-back wins for Memphis and has gotten them back on track after dropping games to Houston and San Antonio last week. They are now 17-4, and back into the top three in the Western Conference.
Sunday night’s win against the Miami Heat featured a breakout performance by Jon Leuer. That gave me the inspiration to write on the best game this season by each significant contributor off the bench, like I did for each starter.
I will not include everyone on the roster, Jarnell Stokes and Jordan Adams are not regulars in the rotation, and Nick Calathes has only played significant minutes in one game so I have not picked games for them.
I’ll include the best performances this season by each player that is a regular member of Dave Joerger’s rotation. That includes Beno Udrih, Vince Carter, Tayshaun Prince, Quincy Pondexter, Jon Leuer, and Kosta Koufos.
Next: Beno Udrih
