At just 26 years old, Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant has established himself as one of the greatest scorers the NBA has ever seen.
Durant has been the league’s scoring champion a remarkable four times in seven years. He is a career 27.7 point-per-game scorer that’s only improving, as evidenced by his career-best 32.0 point-per-game average last season.
The guy is an offensive savant. He has the quickness and athleticism to get to the basket at will, a sweet shot that’s made even more deadly because his height (6’10”) makes it nearly impossible to block and an ability to create for himself that few can match.
But his talent isn’t limited to scoring. Durant is among the best rebounders at his position (7.4 RPG last season), an excellent playmaker (5.4 APG last season) and an improving defender.
He’s an all-around mega superstar that’s already an MVP (2014), five-time all-star and a five-time First-Team All-NBA selection.
Simply put, Durant’s one truly special talent.
To celebrate Durant’s greatness, we’re going to take a look at the 10 greatest single-game performances of his career.
Let’s get started!
