2. Andrew Wiggins, Minnesota Timberwolves

At this point, it feels like Wiggins may never overcome that No. 2 label for the Rookie Rankings, but with nobody able to challenge him for that spot, he’s in a great position to be right there, ready to take over, every week.

Wiggins struggled a bit this week, as did the Timberwolves, being the team to gift the Sixers with their first win of the season on Wednesday night. The rookie shot only 33 percent from the field in five games. He did have three-straight double-digit scoring outings, but it’s not good enough to take that leap to No. 1.
