Clark was waived in October by the Memphis Grizzlies. In four preseason appearances he averaged 5.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists while shooting 47 percent from the field.

Before the Grizzlies, Clark’s last regular season action was split between the Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks. He recorded a personal season high of 15 points with the Cavaliers in a contest against the Charlotte Hornets. Clark also had an impressive eight rebound game twice while in uniform with Cleveland.

Once against the Washington Wizards and also while playing opposite the Brooklyn Nets.

Clark sports career averages of 4.4 points on 40.4 percent field goal shooting. His three point (33.1) and free throw (67.1) percentages  have been meager in addition to his 3 rebounds a game. Clark’s his best season came with the Lakers in the 2012-13 season where he averaged a career-high 7.3 points.

A return to Los Angeles could bring familiar production and set the Lakers up for a low-rent role player for the future.
