If the Los Angeles Lakers revolution were to be televised it would be in black and white. Their progress is slow-motion this season, as exemplified by their five wins out 18 games. Although they’re currently eighth in points per game, they’re middle-of-the-road in everything else.

The Lakers are 18th in rebounding, 22nd in assists per game and dead last in opponents field goals per game giving up 116.8 points per 100 possessions.

Their fair share of injuries have led to the Lakers working out guards and it leads to what could be an imminent signing. Lakers have already lost three players to season-ending injuries in the first month of the 2014-15 season.

After losing forward Xavier Henry to an Achilles tear, Ryan Kelly (hamstring), Steve Nash (nerve irritation) and Julius Randle (broken right leg), the Lakers are turning their attention to players who can temporarily fill holes on the roster.

One of the players they’re reportedly close to signing is former Laker forward and D-League player of the month for November Earl Clark.
