1. Ralph Lawler – Clippers Announcer (1978-current)

Ralph Lawler has been the Clippers play-by-play announcer since 1978. After planning to retire after the 2014 season, Lawler decided to stick around a few more years. Surely the team being sold to Steve Ballmer and Doc Rivers‘ extension had something to do with that.

Lawler is the originator of “Lawler’s Law,” which stipulates that the first team to win 100 points usually wins the game. A prediction that has served correct close to 92 percent of the time.

Ralph has broadcast almost every Clippers game since the team moved from Buffalo in 1978. He’s kept fans entertained with his enthusiastic “bingos” (when a Clippers player hits a three) and many other catch phrases. Ralph has broadcast more than 2,500 Clippers games, and more than 1,600 consecutive games.

While there are many announcers that prove themselves to be expendable, Ralph and his marriage with the Clippers has been invaluable.
