5. Corey Maggette – No. 50

Maggette spent eight seasons wooing Clipper fans with consistency over flash. He had a unique ability to drive the ball, attract fouls and get to the free-throw line. As such, he held his end of the bargain from the charity stripe. Maggette led the league in free throws made and attempted during the 2003-04 season.

In eight season spent with the Clippers, Maggette was usually in the best shape. He was one of those players capable of doing it all, but didn’t do one thing well enough to truly set him apart. Maggette was a capable shooter, rebounder, defender and ball-handler.

During his 14-year career in the league he made a name for himself as an all-around player. A fan favorite on and off the court.

Small nagging injuries plagued Maggette towards the end of his career, as he eventually became a shell of his former self; the athletic swingman who posted career averages of 16 points and five rebounds.
