I’m not breaking my own rule here, I promise. For those who don’t know, Derek Fisher left the Los Angeles Lakers for three years after the first three-peat and played one season with the Golden State Warriors and two years with the Utah Jazz. Fisher was released from his contract with the Jazz and signed a three-year contract with the Lakers.

Fisher fit right back in as the Lakers’ starting point guard and was one of the backbones of the team who went to three straight finals between 2008-2010 and won two of them (2009, 2010).
